Job Summary
Seasonal full-time Resident Project Representative overseeing airfield paving, lighting, and grading construction across US airports; responsibilities include continual observation (not inspection) of projects, effective communication with team members, writing concise field reports, documenting progress, reading and interpreting plans and specifications, documenting material quantities, and serving as liaison between the Engineer and Airport Owner; travel on short notice for extended periods and varied work hours may be required; must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of construction/paving experience plus a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of construction and/or paving knowledge with some technical training or equivalent experience
- Prior airport or highway construction experience, with construction oversight experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle for use on active project sites
- Must be able to travel on short notice for extended periods
- Must be able to read and interpret construction documents including plans and specifications
