Job Summary
Seasonal Resident Project Representative responsible for continual observation of airfield paving, lighting, and grading construction projects, documenting progress, writing concise field reports, interpreting construction documents, and serving as liaison between the Engineer and Airport Owner with the Contractor. Travel to various airports across the U.S. and ability to work extended hours, including weekends and night shifts, are required. Strong communication and field documentation skills necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of construction and/or paving knowledge with some technical training or equivalent experience
- Prior airport or highway construction experience, with construction oversight experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle for use on active project sites is required
- Must be able to travel on short notice for extended periods and able to navigate construction sites with varying terrain and weather conditions
- Must be able to pass background check and driver training on airfield
