Job Summary
Seasonal full-time Resident Project Representative at Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. with work across U.S. airports (Columbus, OH noted). Responsibilities include continual observation (not inspection) of airfield paving, lighting, and grading construction projects; effective written and in-person communication with team; writing concise field reports; adequately documenting construction progress; reading and interpreting construction documents including plans and specifications; documenting material quantities; serving as liaison between the Engineer, Airport Owner, and Contractor; travel to active project sites and ability to work extended hours, weekends, nights, and shift work as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of construction and/or paving knowledge with some technical training or equivalent experience
- Prior airport or highway construction experience, with construction oversight experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle for use on active project sites is required
- Must be able to travel on short notice for extended periods and able to navigate construction sites with varying terrain and weather conditions
- Must be able to pass background check and driver training on airfield
