Job Summary
Resident Monitor responsible for the care, welfare, safety, and security of participants at interim housing sites across Westside Los Angeles. Duties include providing information and referrals to participants, distributing items supplied by the program, reporting maintenance needs and incidents, conducting site, neighborhood and perimeter checks, handling emergencies, and assisting with general office tasks. Requires ability to communicate effectively, remain calm in stressful situations, work with people from diverse backgrounds, work as part of a team, and lift up to 30 lbs. High School Diploma or GED required; experience with unhoused individuals and in a residential setting preferred. Training includes following the employee handbook and maintaining professionalism with internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with unhoused individuals preferred
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Experience working in a residential setting preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
