Resident Medication Tech

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while monitoring resident responses to existing plans and notifying the health care coordinator of adverse reactions. Adhere to infection control policies, assist residents with medication distribution, and supervise self-administration where appropriate. Maintain daily resident records, document changes in physical condition or behavior, and write weekly summaries addressing service plan problems. Observe health and emotional conditions, count controlled substances, and respond promptly to emergency requests and family inquiries.
