Resident/Medication Aide (Full-Time) - Assisted and Enhanced Assisted Living

Job Summary
Support residents in assisted and enhanced living to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being by assisting with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and laundry. Monitor residents' needs according to their service plans and encourage participation in social and recreational activities. Document care notes, assist residents to and from the dining room, and respond promptly to the call bell system while completing safety rounds. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Work full-time shifts including evenings, overnights, and holidays with every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- One (1) year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a medical or healthcare setting
- Must be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and with empathy to build rapport and achieve high quality of care with resident, families, co-workers, and other medical professionals
- Able to push, pull, lift, and carry trays of food, laundry bags, heavy boxes, and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, frequently bending, stooping, and reaching
- Satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical, including a tuberculin skin test or blood assay

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) experience is highly preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience will be considered but is not required
- Experience with older adults is preferred
- Willingness to complete medication assistance training preferred
