Job Summary
Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) supports the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, coordinating, and facilitating daily life enrichment activities for active residents to promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities include engaging residents one-on-one and in groups, leading or assisting with social, religious, educational, indoor/outdoor activities, exercise classes, art and music, outings, coordinating the monthly newsletter, decorating for events, coordinating external trips and ensuring resident safety, and assisting the Director as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), ability to work independently, flexible shifts (including weekends/holidays), and a personable, organized, professional demeanor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- 6-12 months of relevant experience working with seniors (preferred)
