Job Summary
Implement a program of social, recreational, and intellectual activities per the Monthly Activity calendar and regulations while escorting residents to and from events. Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, as well as instrumental tasks like meal service and telephone use. Maintain neat supplies, perform written inventories, and accurately document care provisions or status changes. Respond promptly to resident call lights and promote participation as a cheerleader. Weekend shift differentials, vacation pay, perfect attendance bonus, tuition assistance, and health benefits are available. Applicants must be 18+, hold or obtain a Personal Support Specialist certification within 120 days, and provide proof of required immunizations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Certification as Activities Professional, Personal Support Specialist, Certified Residential Medication Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire
- Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella, Influenza and COVID
- Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision
