Job Summary
The Resident Instructor will create a nurturing learning environment for clients with developmental disabilities, monitor their progress, assist in day-to-day living activities, administer medications, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of experience in the field of Human Services
- Valid CT driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related Human Services area
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift and transfer 70-75lbs
- Must be able to utilize approved protective hold techniques
- Must participate in training opportunities
