Resident I Graduate Nurse

The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, including assessing patient condition, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, teaching patients and families about conditions and treatments, and proactively addressing patient needs while advancing through a Nurse Residency program with hands-on training, preceptorship, and educational sessions. The role supports transition from student nurse to registered nurse with mentorship from experienced nurse leaders and participation in evidence-based practice projects.
