Resident Hair Specialist/Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Summary
Provide senior-focused hair services including consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical treatments, and related services for residents; maintain a clean, sanitary salon compliant with health standards; educate residents on age-appropriate hair care; stay current with techniques for mature hair (perm, roller sets, teasing); build warm, professional relationships within the community; part-time role with no nights/weekends; 50% commission-based pay; 401k eligibility after year one; Must hold a cosmetology license and have at least 3 years of licensed experience, with preference for experience working with seniors.
Required Qualifications
- Current Cosmetology License (required)
- Minimum of 3 years’ licensed experience in cosmetology
- Proficiency in haircutting, styling, and chemical services
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with senior clientele is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, empathetic demeanor
- Sanitation practices and attention to detail
