Job Summary
Resident Service Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of industrial/construction equipment at customer locations within a designated territory; communicates downtime and job progress updates to Sales, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers; ensures safe, efficient operation with minimal supervision and safe on-site practices; requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year mechanical training/experience, ability to read schematics, operate tools, travel to and work at customer sites, lift up to 100 pounds, and wear safety gear; field service with on-site, in-person customer support and territory coverage.
Required Qualifications
- minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field
- possessing or ability to obtain a complete line of tools including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site
- minimum 21 years of age
- clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to read or be trained in reading schematics
- ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
