Job Summary
Conduct operations and maintenance on water treatment systems, troubleshooting media filtration, softening, and reverse osmosis equipment. Perform analytical testing for turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, and other parameters while carrying out mechanical, electrical, and controls preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, and instrumentation. Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals, create site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries. Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications, collect payment information, and generate billing documentation. Work fluctuating schedules at customer sites, adhering to all safety and environmental policies.

- Demonstrated ability to perform analytical, mechanical and electrical hands-on tasks and troubleshooting
- Ability to work schedules that will fluctuate based on customer and business needs / demands
- Strong technical, mathematical and customer service skills
- General knowledge of electrical equipment, water chemistry and safety
- Vision, manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to service instruments and handle electrical equipment
- Ability to learn applicable company procedures within a reasonable time from start of employment
- Computer proficiency with a minimum of word processing and spreadsheets, and basic data base knowledge
- Ability to use ordinary hand tools, calibrated tools, and analytical instrumentation, as well as chemically aggressive fluids, such as acids and bases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem solving ability with an unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent
- 2+ years' experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
