Job Summary
The Resident Engineer position involves operations and maintenance of a data center network requiring a deep understanding of routing and switching technologies including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, L2VPN, and L3VPN. Responsibilities include supporting Juniper products, engaging in network design improvements, and collaborating with customer engineers to resolve issues. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and experience using automation tools and scripting languages.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance
- Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies
- Experience with Juniper products (QFX, MX, EX, SRX)
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment and network problems
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering Design/Architecture, Operational, and Support experience in a medium to large scale data center network
- Juniper and/or other vendor certifications
- Automation and DevOps knowledge
- Experience with Juniper products
