Job Summary
Inspect daily construction work to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and minimum material testing. Review contractor submittals, requests for information, and coordinate with the contractor while monitoring maintenance and Protection of Traffic. Prepare daily inspection reports, perform field measurements of pay items, and provide computations. Participate in meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items. This field-related position supports M&J Engineering's civil, ITS, and infrastructure projects across NYC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Landscape Architecture
- At least 5+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
