Job Summary
As a Resident Engineer, you will oversee transportation and municipal construction projects from pre-construction to close-out. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day construction management on-site, processing contractor submittals, supervising the Construction Management team, ensuring compliance with quality standards, chairing progress meetings, and maintaining client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of progressive construction inspection experience in a supervisory role
Desired Qualifications
- NICET Level IV certification
- EIT certification
- New Jersey Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure
