Resident Engineer (MEP)

Job Summary
Supervise daily MEP installations at a data-centre construction site; review and validate MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, and respond to RFIs; coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve MEP technical issues and interface clashes; monitor progress, flag risks or delays, and prepare regular technical and quality reports for project management; require a Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of experience in MEP supervision; focus on cooling, power distribution, UPS/generators, fire protection, and plumbing within mission-critical facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience in MEP supervision for large-scale industrial or mission-critical construction projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems commonly used in data centres: cooling, power distribution, UPS/generators, fire protection, and plumbing
- Proven ability to oversee complex technical installations and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
