Job Summary
Experienced Resident Engineer for a NYS Thruway Authority bridge painting project in Syracuse. Leads contractor coordination to ensure conformance with contract documents and NYSTA specs, verifies on-site materials, ensures AMPP coating procedures, monitors containment and environmental conditions, prepares daily work reports and engineer's diary, handles change orders and payment estimates, and conducts progress meetings. Requires NICET Level IV certification or equivalent, 10+ years coatings experience, valid driver's license, and demonstrated ability to prepare submittals, change orders, and payment estimates; strong leadership and field-operations oversight are essential.
