Job Summary
Resident Engineer responsible for overall electrical works at the plant, including vendor management, supporting Production to resolve electrical issues, and leading preventive maintenance activities for process equipment and utilities. Duties include planning and executing preventive maintenance checks, documenting and resolving issues, coordinating repairs and spare parts with engineers and vendors, contributing to yearly department budget for repair and maintenance, recruiting/training/coaching technicians, driving continuous improvement, machine installation and commissioning with data collection, liaising with local and overseas vendors to solve production issues, and providing production support as needed. Key skills include 3-5 years in manufacturing, supervisory experience, strong electrical and control system knowledge with PLC programming, SCADA/HMI design (optional), hardwiring and electrical/electronic hardware, preferably Siemens PLC, and project-management experience. Preference for A4 chargeman license.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years working experience in manufacturing industries
- Experienced in supervising or leading a group of maintenance technicians
- Strong in electrical and control system troubleshooting
