Job Summary
Administer the construction contract by ensuring Project Quality Plans interface with contract requirements and overseeing field operations to maintain schedules while minimizing costs through strategic staff deployment. Monitor the Contractor's daily and weekly progress against the schedule, report delays to the Construction Manager, and conduct coordination meetings. Direct Assistant Resident Engineers and Chief Inspectors, review monthly estimates and final payments, and prepare certified daily inspection reports. Coordinate activities with outside agencies and utilities, manage public inquiries, and ensure strict adherence to job safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in mechanical, electrical, or civil/structural engineering
- 4 years of related experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- P.E. license
- ability to obtain license within 1 year of hire
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course
- demonstrated experience with wastewater construction infrastructure projects
- demonstrated experience with wastewater mechanical process equipment installation
