Job Summary
Resident Director responsible for leading the property renewal leasing program, maintaining customer service relationships with residents and prospects, and driving renewal and occupancy goals. Partners with Property Manager and Regional Manager to set renewal ratio targets, develop strategic plans, and supervise leasing staff. Oversees recruitment and interviewing efforts, on-site staff training, and safety programs; builds relationships with universities and local organizations; ensures compliance with branding and marketing goals; processes lease-related paperwork and renewal activities; manages renewal events and resident programs; monitors data related to resident activity and renewal progress; conducts weekly team meetings and staff development; supports move-in/move-out processes and property inspections; uses Entrata and Microsoft Office; emphasizes high-energy, organized, and proactive leadership to achieve occupancy targets.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years leasing experience in multifamily or off-campus student housing preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree or proven success in a Leasing Manager position preferred
- Sales and/or management experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or retail industries preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technically savvy with various social media platforms and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Entrata property management software or other similar property management software preferred
