Job Summary
Conduct complex on-site diagnostics, service, repairs, and maintenance on customer CLAAS equipment in field and shop settings. Review and explain maintenance concerns directly to customers while documenting work orders and promoting service programs. Maintain seasonal parts inventory through collaboration with the Parts Department and schedule daily assignments with the Technical Support Center. Complete all required reports, forms, and accounting for time and materials timely. This role involves extensive travel by auto, frequent overnight trips, and weekend or evening work during peak seasons. Full-time employment requires a valid driver's license and offers premium health, dental, 401(k) with match, and extensive PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license with a verifiably safe driving history
- 3+ years' experience in a field service technician / engineering role working on agricultural equipment
- Prior experience in high visibility customer facing role
- Must be able to work efficiently and autonomously
- Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely operate large machinery
- Ability to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervision

Desired Qualifications
- Ag Diesel Technology Degree highly preferred
- degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of CLAAS equipment and parts
