Resident Care Manager (RCM) - Full Time (FT) - Hillcrest Place

Resident Care Manager responsible for planning, direction and evaluation of quality resident care under the direction of the Director of Care/Health and Wellness. Leads the nursing staff, assists with recruiting/hiring/term, assigns and disciplines staff, schedules coverage, oversees care plans, promotes continuous quality improvement, and ensures compliance with Manitoba health legislation, PPCO, and organization values. Provides ongoing staff development, demonstrates clinical nursing expertise, and acts as a role model for patient- and family-centered care. Requires knowledge of MDS / Care Management systems, strong interpersonal skills, and capacity to supervise the building in the absence of senior management. The role emphasizes ethics, integrity, and a patient-first approach within a unionized long-term care environment in Canada.
