Job Summary
Resident Care Manager (Memory Support) leads engagement and quality-of-life initiatives for residents living with cognitive impairment, supervising Memory Support CNAs and caregiving staff while partnering with nursing, Life Enrichment, and leadership to maintain a therapeutic, resident-centered environment. Responsibilities include driving resident engagement activities, coordinating care planning and admissions, supervising and coaching staff, ensuring compliance with AHCA rules and company policies, and supporting family communications. The role requires strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, Dementia-care expertise, and ability to coordinate across nursing and leadership to deliver compassionate, dignified care and meaningful daily experiences for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Gerontology, or related field preferred
- CPR certification required
- One to three years experience in memory care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or geriatric healthcare setting
- One to three years supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Minimum one year experience working with individuals living with dementia-related conditions preferred
- Genuine passion for serving older adults in a memory care environment
