Job Summary
Resident Care Director (RN) leads clinical operations for the Assisted Living and Memory Care building within a senior living community, collaborates with the Assisted Living Administrator, guides nursing and caregiving staff, and ensures high-quality, resident-centered care while complying with regulatory standards. Responsible for supervising nursing staff, developing care plans in line with North Carolina Adult Care Home regulations, coordinating regulatory documentation and reporting, participating in quality assurance and regulatory audits, coordinating staffing to meet regulatory requirements, overseeing medication management, and serving as liaison to residents and families regarding health concerns and care coordination. Promotes infection control, emergency preparedness, safety protocols, and a positive, collaborative work environment; requires active RN license and leadership experience in senior living or healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, clinical standards and resident-centered care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and care documentation system
