Job Summary
Resident Care Director oversees the Memory Support neighborhood with clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational management. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care; ensuring individualized care plans; coordinating admissions and transfers; monitoring resident well-being and safety; supporting non-pharmacological interventions; ensuring AHCA compliance and survey readiness; leading quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives; supervising and developing caregiving staff; engaging families and coordinating with the Memory Support Engagement Manager; managing staffing levels, budgeting, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams; promoting resident-centered care and exceptional customer service; responding to emergencies and providing first aid as needed; maintaining documentation and compliance with regulations; and fostering a collaborative, professional environment focused on memory-care excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Florida LPN or RN license required
- CPR certification required
- Minimum one to three years of management experience in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or geriatric healthcare setting
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings including health, TB, and FDLE clearance
