Job Summary
Resident Care Director — coordinates, directs, and oversees resident services within Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. Provides clinical leadership for admissions, evaluations, and resident satisfaction; oversees CNAs and nursing staff, staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management; ensures compliance with state regulations, licensure requirements, and community policies; maintains resident records and coordinates with external providers; leads care planning, dementia-informed care, quality assurance, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives; participates in fire safety, transfer/discharge processes, and on-call responsibilities; requires active Florida RN license and experience in related healthcare settings with supervisory experience. Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (required).
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or a related healthcare setting.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment (preferred).
- Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia (strongly preferred).
- Completion of Florida ALF Core Training and current Core Competency certification (preferred; required within designated timeframe if not held at hire).
- Knowledge of AHCA regulations, Florida Administrative Code for Assisted Living, and best practices for Memory Care operations.
