Job Summary
Develop and implement highest standards for assisted living services while conducting electronic evaluations of incoming and periodic re-evaluations of residents. Provide direct care to residents as needed, assess and document status changes, and communicate with families, physicians, and pharmacists per state regulations. Supervise team members through coaching, performance reviews, and training certification, while building effective teams by determining staffing levels and preparing schedules. Adhere to budgetary guidelines, coordinate with the General Manager for financial stability, and audit services for regulatory compliance. Requires LPN/LVN or RN licensure, 3 years related experience, and physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure, as specified by state agency
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire where required by state
- Completion of dementia training as required by state regulations within six months of hire date if applicable
- 3-years' related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in assisted living, geriatric nursing, or gerontology and dementia care
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
- Experience in operating an electronic care system
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care
- Ability to perform regular bending, reaching, and physical movement
Desired Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure, as specified by state agency, preferred
- Experience in medication administration and hands-on personal care preferred
