Resident Care Director (Assisted Living)

Job Summary
Resident Care Director in an Assisted Living neighborhood responsible for strategic clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, staffing, and quality assurance. Oversees resident care, care planning, admissions/transfers, rounds, medication oversight, and AHCA compliance; leads quality improvement initiatives, conducts audits, and ensures resident safety, dignity, and engagement. Manages budgeting, staffing needs, and collaboration with Life Enrichment, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality, person-centered care in a regulated environment. Requires Florida LPN/RN license, CPR, and 1–3 years of management experience in geriatric healthcare; degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Florida LPN or RN license required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related healthcare field preferred
- Minimum one to three years of management experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or geriatric healthcare setting
- Knowledge of AHCA regulations and assisted living compliance standards
- CPR certification required
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings including health, TB, and FDLE clearance
- Genuine passion for serving older adults in an assisted living environment
