Resident Care Director

Resident Care Director responsible for setting clinical standards, ensuring high-quality resident care, and leading a nursing team in a senior living/assisted living environment. Oversees the medication delivery system, conducts initial and ongoing resident assessments with clinical insight, coordinates care with providers and ancillary services, interprets policies for nursing staff to ensure compliance, supervises Resident Care Aides, delivers hands-on competency training with return demonstrations, and leads recruitment, onboarding, and in-service education for the nursing team. Serves as a liaison to families, healthcare agencies, hospitals, and emergency teams; handles emergency situations calmly and efficiently; participates in on-call rotation. The role requires MA or CT nursing licensure and relevant clinical experience in home health, assisted living, or related settings, with a focus on maintaining accurate documentation, clear communication, and system-wide process improvements to ensure resident safety and quality care.
