Job Summary
Resident Care Coordinator and Staff Scheduler responsible for caregiver shift assignments, monitoring caregiver performance for quality resident care, managing nurse staffing and scheduling, conducting caregiver orientation and training, coordinating communications with families, physicians, and outside providers, documenting changes in resident conditions, following physician orders, leading first aid and safety responses, narcotic counts, medication setup and documentation, and maintaining orderly medication areas while collaborating with the Health Services Director and facility administration.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse preferred (LPN, LVN, or RN)
- Knowledge and experience processing in Scheduling databases.
- Working Knowledge of computers, including Excel, Word, and MS Office
- Knowledge of nursing specialties, opportunities, and qualifications
- Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees’ needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing/scheduling requirements are met for the facility.
- Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be able to work effectively in an individual or team setting.
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
