Resident Care Coordinator

Manage daily resident care by monitoring conditions, implementing physician orders, and dispensing medications while maintaining accurate documentation. Coordinate caregiver shifts, handle staffing coverage for sick leave, and conduct building tours or tours when requested. Address resident emergencies with independent discretion, manage narcotic counts, and respond to first aid or disaster situations. Communicate with families, physicians, and outside healthcare providers regarding concerns, complaints, and changes in resident status. Report performance issues to administrators and participate in caregiver orientation and training. Execute shift-specific duties including locking doors in the PM shift and managing minor physical plant issues.
