Job Summary
Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) leads and mentors care staff, participates in staff orientation and training, and serves as a resource to the team. The role includes on-call coverage, reviewing assignments with leadership, maintaining familiarity with resident records, and providing direct resident support including activities of daily living, medication assistance, bathing and grooming, and implementing services per resident assessments and service plans. The RCC observes issues among staff and residents, communicates appropriately to leadership, and contributes to a compassionate, well-managed retirement/assisted living community that emphasizes wellness, independence, and high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Medication Aide or Caregiver experience
- CPR and/or First Aid Certification as required by State regulations
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living and medications
- Lead trainer/mentor responsibilities
- On-call availability
- Experience reviewing assignments and maintaining resident records
- Ability to observe and communicate concerns to Administrator/Director of Nursing
