Job Summary
Manage and direct resident services in accordance with company policies, standards of practice, and governmental regulations to maintain quality care. Comply with personnel, safety, and corporate procedures while reporting witnessed allegations of abuse or neglect immediately to the Executive Director. Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information and supervise compliance with policies for total patient care, including meal service, activities, housekeeping, and laundry. Assist with resident admissions, execute negotiated service agreements, and participate in personnel selection and orientation. Monitor staff compliance with state and federal regulations regarding infection control, hazardous materials, and resident rights. Work beyond normal hours and weekends as necessary, assisting in emergency evacuations and operating a motor vehicle if required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid professional license (LPN or RN) and in good standing with the state.
- Must have a valid CPR certification.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
- Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Community.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
