Job Summary
Conduct daily support services including bathing, dressing, and general assistance for the geriatric and dementia population during Sunday and Monday shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Provide medication administration on an as-needed basis after introductory training and utilize provided Basic First Aid training. Maintain resident care coordination within the 201-apartment assisted living community, which includes a dedicated 14-unit Memory Care Wing. Prior experience in assisted living or nursing homes is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Home Health Aide
- Will be trained as a Medication Aide during the introductory period and work as a Medication Aide on an as-needed basis
- Basic First Aid training provided
- One to two years' prior experience with the geriatric and dementia population preferred
- Experience providing daily support services such as bathing, dressing and general assistance
- Previous assisted living or nursing home experience strongly preferred
