Job Summary
Conduct daily support services including bathing, dressing, and general assistance for the geriatric and dementia population. Provide medication administration on an as-needed basis after introductory Medication Aide training. Coordinate resident care during Friday and Saturday shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. at the assisted living community. Basic First Aid training is provided. One to two years of prior experience with this population and previous assisted living or nursing home experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Home Health Aide
- Will be trained as a Medication Aide during the introductory period and work as a Medication Aide on an as-needed basis
- Basic First Aid training provided
- Experience providing daily support services such as bathing, dressing and general assistance
- Previous assisted living or nursing home experience strongly preferred
- One to two years' prior experience with the geriatric and dementia population preferred
