Resident Care Coordinator (Assisted Living)

Job Summary
Implement standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis in Assisted Living and Memory Care units. Maintain resident charts, care plans, and regulatory documents while operating the facility in compliance with federal and state regulations. Direct and evaluate all personnel providing direct resident care, administer medications, and assess treatment responses. Conduct daily resident rounds, initiate corrective actions, and lead staff meetings to implement the nursing program. Participate in scheduled in-service training and education. Requires frequent night and weekend work with long hours.
Required Qualifications
- LPN state licensure
- qualified as a Medication Aide for Adult Care Homes (Med Tech)
- listed as a CNA in good standing on NC Nurse Aide Registry
- documentation of completing 80 hour PCA training
- Two- or Four-year college or university degree
- Current state licensure as a Nurse
- CNA/Med Tech certification
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work
