Resident Care Coordinator (Assisted Living)

Job Summary
Implement standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis in Assisted Living and Memory Care units by maintaining charts, conducting daily rounds, and administering medications. Oversee nursing aspects of the campus, directing and evaluating personnel while acting as a liaison between the community and regulatory agencies. Lead staff meetings, implement the nursing program, and initiate corrective actions as necessary. Operate areas in compliance with federal, state, and governmental regulations. Participate in scheduled in-service training and education programs. This role requires frequent night and weekend work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and carrying up to 250 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- LPN state licensure
- qualified as a Medication Aide for Adult Care Homes (Med Tech)
- listed as a CNA in good standing on NC Nurse Aide Registry
- documentation of completing 80 hour PCA training
- Two- or Four-year college or university degree
- Current state licensure as a Nurse
- CNA/Med Tech certification
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- This position will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- ability to push up to 250 pounds independently
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work
