Job Summary
Monitor ADL Flow Sheets to ensure coding accuracy and provide education to CNAs on ADL procedures. Enter demographic data into MDS software, complete discharge and re-entry forms, and schedule resident care plan meetings with family invitations. Coordinate teleconferences, transmit MDSs to the State database, and retrieve medical records for utilization review and QIO appeals. Track Medicare certifications, denial letters, and subsequent level appeals while assisting with compiled record submissions. Requires active CNA license, MDS experience, and ability to make independent decisions. Weekly pay at $22 per hour with holiday and overtime benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- CNA experience
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
- Up to date with COVID and flu vaccinations
