Job Summary
Resident Care Associate (CNA) needed to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Responsibilities include participating in Personalized Service Plans, monitoring hydration, completing meal attendance and room service as needed, upholding resident rights, assisting with activities and ADLs, ensuring room cleanliness and safety, managing laundry areas, responding to security calls, and maintaining compliance with federal/state/local regulations. Requires CNA certification, High School education (preferred by state), 18+ years old, ability to work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with every other weekend, and availability for weekends/evenings in Baton Rouge, LA.
Required Qualifications
- High School education preferred and may be required by the state
- Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals (preferred)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing (preferred)
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
