Job Summary
Resident Care Associate needed for 6pm–6am shift in Auburn Hills, MI. Provide personal hygiene assistance, medication support, mobility and mobility-related tasks, meal planning/preparation, and in-home care duties in a one-on-one setting. Duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation, assisting with physical therapy exercises, transporting clients to appointments, shopping, housekeeping, and reporting incidents. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable working nights/weekends. Prior healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience (minimum 1 year), Hoyer Lift experience, and completion of CNA program or equivalent are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
