Resident Care Assistant

Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, and ambulation. Conduct room checks, resident rounds, and monitor for environmental safety hazards while utilizing safe transfer techniques. Escort residents, coordinate transportation, and assist with personal correspondence or telephone use. Wash laundry, perform housekeeping tasks, and support dining operations by setting up, serving, and cleaning tables. Document services on company forms, operate medical and office equipment, and report changes in residents' condition or suspected abuse immediately. Maintain professional demeanor and use tactful communication in sensitive situations.
