Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and ambulation. Conduct room checks, perform laundry, and maintain environmental safety while utilizing safe transfer techniques. Escort residents for transportation and dining, operate medical equipment, and document all services provided. Monitor residents' physical and cognitive status, reporting changes or suspected abuse to the Wellness Director immediately. Respond to emergencies calmly and coordinate with peers to ensure resident-centered activities and housekeeping tasks are completed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
