Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and ambulation. Maintain professional demeanor during interactions, report suspected abuse immediately, and monitor residents for changes in physical or cognitive status. Conduct room checks, perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry and bed-making, and escort residents for transportation and dining. Utilize safe transfer techniques, operate medical equipment, and document all services provided on company forms. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow CDC Standard Precautions and infection control procedures. Full-time position with daily pay, PTO, and health benefits. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and pass drug testing and background check. Experience in assisted living preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
