Resident Care Assistant - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents to promote dignity, choice, and individuality. Support activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility), assist with transfers and mobility, and collaborate with peers and Wellness Director. Maintain professional demeanor with residents and families; report abuse to licensed staff; follow CDC and OSHA infection-control guidelines; manage documentation of services; operate basic office and medical equipment; escort residents and coordinate transportation; observe changes in condition and communicate with the Wellness Director or supervisor. Participate in resident-centered activities, support housekeeping tasks, and uphold safety and service standards. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and comply with pre-employment drug testing and background checks. Previous experience in assisted living preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
