Job Summary
Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Conduct room checks, perform laundry, and maintain environmental safety while monitoring residents' physical and cognitive status. Escort residents for transportation, coordinate dining assistance, and respond to emergencies by reporting them immediately to supervisors. Document all services provided and utilize safe transfer techniques and infection control procedures. Maintain professional demeanor during interactions and report any suspected abuse to licensed staff.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
