Job Summary
Assist memory impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining their dignity and promoting independence. Ensure compliance with residents' rights regulations and maintain proper care documentation. Immediately report changes in resident condition, including illness, behavioral changes, unmet needs, or unknown whereabouts to the supervisor. Encourage resident participation in community activities. This role supports Peregrine Senior Living's innovative leadership in memory care programs, helping define current standards for exceptional senior care.
Required Qualifications
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly, required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law
- One year working in a caregiving capacity, preferred
