Resident Care Aide (Full-Time)(2nd Shift) - Legacy of Lexington

Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care. Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities, then assist in the dining room by serving meals and clearing tables. Respond to resident emergency call systems, observe and document condition changes for the Resident Care Coordinator, and transport residents when required. Maintain resident care documentation per State regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies. Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner. This role supports the Legacy of Lexington community of Navion Senior Living in delivering high-quality care in a cutting-edge Assisted Living Community.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Dedication to and passion to serve seniors
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest
- Written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Level of understanding
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment
- Problem solving skills
- Decision making skills
- Every other weekend required
