Job Summary
Provide personal care, support dining and activities, and assist relatives while maintaining a calm, professional environment. Document care accurately, prepare shift change logs, and alert licensed nurses to changes in resident condition. Respond to emergency call systems and follow procedures for self-administered medication management. Assess resident capabilities and collaborate effectively with coworkers to support the team approach. Complete all required annual in-service training and adhere to OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing Assistant certification OR completion of a Certified Home Health Aide program
- Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of seniors
- Patience, compassion, and respect for all residents
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a committed, united team
- Dependable, professional, and willing to take ownership of duties
