Job Summary
Provide care to residents in a small home environment within a Personal Care Home, assisting with activities of daily living, nutrition, activities participation, laundry and housekeeping, under supervision of nursing leadership. Requires knowledge of PHIA/FIPPA, WHMIS, VPP/SCHIPP, strong communication and teamwork, ability to organize workload, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends; must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and be able to travel to regional facilities if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 education
- Health Care Aide Certificate from recognized program
- Certified Food Handler Certificate or willing to obtain
